Samantha Schutz is an award-winning content creator and filmmaker whose work spans independent documentaries, network television, digital series, and branded storytelling. Known for her strong visual voice and story-driven approach, Samantha brings cinematic craft and emotional clarity to every project she leads.
She is currently producing and directing her documentary Land, Sea & Sky: The Fight for Keystone Species, a global conservation film that follows courageous women on the front lines fighting to protect keystone species from the brink of extinction. The film highlights the urgency of environmental preservation while celebrating the leadership of women driving change around the world.
For network television, Samantha co-created and co-executive produced Log On and Eat for the Cooking Channel and co-created, produced, and directed Eden Eats. She pitched and sold both series to the Food Network and was deeply involved from original concept through post-production.
At the Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia brand, Samantha served as Senior Producer and Director of Photography for Everyday Food’s YouTube channel, growing the platform to well over one million subscribers. The series Kitchen Conundrums, which she produced and shot, won a James Beard Award. She also served as Director of Photography for Martha Stewart’s Facebook Live series, which won a Webby Award.
At Meredith Corporation, Samantha spearheaded the development of 360VR content across the company’s leading brands. She led the company’s first live 360VR broadcast and created a fully immersive 360VR viewing experience for the Magnolia brand, featuring a guided tour of Magnolia Market with Chip and Joanna Gaines.
